Pioneer Electronics has unveiled its new AV receivers in the form of the Elite VSX-42 (7.1-channel) and VSX-60 (7.2-channel). Both AV receivers support Apple’s AirPlay, DLNA (1.5), Internet radio and an optional Bluetooth A2DP. The Pioneer Elite VSX-42 And VSX-60 AV receivers also provides a variety of audio, video and custom home theater enhancements such as MCACC auto-calibration, multi-HDMI inputs and Pioneer’s proprietary apps for iPhone and iPad (ControlAPP and iControlAV2012). The Pioneer Elite VSX-42 and VSX-60 AV receivers are priced at $450 and $650, respectively. [Akihabara]
