Pioneer released the Pioneer PRO-FHD1 50 Inch 1080p Plasma panel this week. The PRO-FHD1 combines the higher pixel count of 1080i with the faster refresh rate of 720p which produces a smooth and accurate picture for fast-moving content such as action films or sports with an amazingly sharp, bright, and accurate picture quality. This Pioneer Elite PureVision 1080p plasma will accept sources from 720p and 1080i to DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and will automatically smart convert it to deliver the highest resolution picture possible.
