Planex To Launch A New Dual-Band WiFi Router

Planex is set to launch their newest dual-band WiFi router, the MZK-1200DHP2. Corresponding to the ‘Draft 11ac’ (the new standard for Wireless LAN IEEE802.11ac), this home router is configured with one Internet LAN port, four LAN ports and a WPS button, and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps and 5GHz – 866Mbps).

Measuring W115mm x D32mm x H175mm and weighing 239 grams, the MZK-1200DHP2 provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (AES) and WEP (64bit/138bit). Supporting Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X 10.6 or later operating systems, the Planex MZK-1200DHP2 will start shipping from July 23rd for around 8,480 Yen (about $68). [Product Page]
