Plextor has just announced the availability dates of the 80GB and 120GB versions of an external drive that the company claims are shockproof; they can supposedly survive any drop, anywhere. The prices for the 2 units, which can be carried anywhere in a pocket, are to be around $169 and $260, respectively. The drives are expected to go on sale in May of this year, 2006.
