Review: Sony VAIO VGC-LA1

RegHardware gives a detailed review of the Sony VAIO VGC-LA1. To recap, this Media PC features an Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 (1.83-GHz) CPU, 1GB of DDR2 memory, 300GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 graphics, AverMedia Hybrid TV card, and a 19-inch widescreen (1680 x 1050) display. Here’s what they had to say:

Sony has engineered a superbly attractive piece of kit in the LA1 but at this price point [$2,620] we expect something that is far more serious and ideally has a larger screen.
