Ricoh Americas Corporation has announced the availability of the Ricoh P3000 Unified Communication System. It is a portable self-contained videoconferencing system that connects up to 20 participants at once with the push of a button. It only takes about 30 seconds to start a video conference. You just need to connect the Ricoh P3000 to the internet (wired or wireless), select participants from the address book, push connect and begin videoconferencing. The P3000 Unified Communication System features a camera with a high resolution 94-degree wide angle lens, an integrated microphone, a built-in speaker, a network connectivity and a push-button console. The Ricoh P3000 Unified Communication System will be released in fall 2012 for $1,650 with an additional fee for a cloud service. [Press Release]
