Most of us hate cockroaches. That’s right! You’re crazy if you love them. Jose Halloy and some colleagues at the Free University of Brussels have created tiny robots that act like Pied Pipers and can trick roaches to follow them. These robots were sprayed with a little bit of roach scent and programmed to choose crowds over darkness, and the roaches automatically followed the robot wherever it went, making them easy pickings. Now that’s cool!
