Set to go into service in Yokohama fire department, this unnamed robotic crawler is designed to carry a 110 kilogram person from the disaster zone to safety in case of an earthquake. It has four wheel belts and can easily move over difficult terrain. The crawler will also monitor the patient’s blood flow and other vital signs during evacuations.
