Samsung has announced the replacement for the A950 series. The new 46-inch and 55-inch B9000 HDTVs will feature a LED backlight with local dimming, where the LEDs are placed in zones and controlled locally to ensure much higher contrast. Other features include the Medi@2.0, with a Internet function that allows users to access such services as YouTube and Yahoo Widgets. Medi@2.0 also has a built-in USB port that can handle music, pictures and video. However, there is no word on pricing at this time. Stay tuned for more updates. [FlatPanelsHD]
