Samsung Electronics has released its 240Hz LCD TV “750 Series” in South Korea. The LCD TV comes equipped with a new technology that produces images at 240Hz, which is twice as fast as the commercial 120 Hz technologies on today’s cutting-edge HDTVs. This literally translates to more comfortable pictures so your eyes won’t tire so much from watching TV too long. The Samsung 750 Series will be available in 40-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch models for $1,995, $2,660, and $3,549, respectively.

Watched movies today on a Samsung 750 (08OCT2009) – WOW. Smokey and the Bandit – from the 70′s – looks like flippin’ “video” and not film. Amazing! X-Men 2 – on a $30 Magnavox DVD player – looks like Blu-Ray! Is it the 240hz doing this? You have to see this – especially on an older movie you’ve seen over and over.
I JUST GOT THE 46″ TV ON FRIDAY. ONCE IT WAS SET UP AND WE TURNED IT ON …OH MY GOODNESS. I AM SO HAPPY!!!! THE COLOR IS SO VIBRANT!!! THIS IS ONE GOOD LOOKING TV.
