In case you didn’t know, these HDTVs are the 2nd generation LED-backlit LCD HDTVs that feature 1080p Ultra Clear panels, auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, a superb 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an integrated networking technology, 4ms response time, and down-firing speakers. Each LCD monitor also has four HDMI-CEC ports, Ethernet socket and PC input. The 46 inch LN46A950 and 55 inch LN55A950 are priced at $3,199.99 and $4,199.99, respectively. This and the Sony XBR 8 are going to be the two juggernauts of 2008. The real question will be if the White LEDs on the Samsung are going to be enough to take on the Tri-RGB LEDs on the Sony.
Samsung and Sony have released a whole slew of different models that can make it real confusing which models sports what.
