Samsung has officially introduced their newest Android 5.1 tablet, the Galaxy Tab A 2016. Measuring 8.7mm thick and weighing 283 grams, this entry-level tablet sports a 7.0-inch 1280 x 800 LCD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 1.5GB RAM and an 8GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
For taking pictures and videos, the tablet is equipped with a 2MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera. Powered by a 4000mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab A 2016 provides 4G LTE / 3G HSPA + (Optional), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS for connectivity, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Coming in black and white color options, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 is now listed on company’s German website, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]
