
Samsung today releases not one but four new digicams from its SL Series. These point-and-shoot cameras are SL820 and SL620 12.1 Megapixels cameras and SL202 and SL30 are 10 Megapixels cameras. The SL820 boasts 720P video recording and HDMI out. Meanwhile, the SL620 only records VGA video. The Samsung SL202 and SL30 offer a 2.7 inch LCD and a 2.5 inch LCD, respectively. These entry-level cameras offers a 3x optical zoom, and MJPEG VGA 30fps video recording. No info on pricing at this time. [Akihabara via Digital Camera Blog]

This announcement is good for Samsung. They need a good quality new line of cameras. I am happy to see a good quality high megapixel camera. I bet the pricing will be pretty reasonable as well.
