Samsung’s newest mobile TV phone, the SGH-P930, is now available in the land of spaghetti and fettuccine through Telecom Italia. Weighing only 119 grams, this mobile TV phone combines not only the latest mobile TV technology, but also the new HSDPA technology which enables high-speed data transmission. The P930 has wide 2.3 inch (240×320) LCD and supports Picture in Picture (PIP) function to watch two TV channels simultaneously. The phone has a 2 megapixel shooter for high-quality photo and a VGA camera for convenient video telephony. The memory can be expanded with the microSD slot. Media support covers MP3/AAC/AAC+/AAC++ formats.
FYI, there are three different standards the mobile TV market: DVB-H for Europe, MediaFLO for the U.S, and DMB for Korea.
