Samsung will launch the Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 entry-level camcorders in August 2009. Both video recorders can record up to 720 x 480 resolution and feature 65x “Intelli-Zoom” (52x optical zoom) lenses, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, upload-to-YouTube functionality, optical image stabilization to capture the moment perfectly even if your hands are shaking, and a HDMI port to connect to your HDTV. The Samsung SMX-K40 required an SD or SDHC card to store all recorded videos, meanwhile the Samsung SMX-K45 comes with a 32GB Solid State Drive. The Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 are priced at $329.99 and $499.99, respectively.
