Samsung claims its Super-WriteMaster SH-S223 to be the fastest DVD burner in the world today. Using SATA connectivity, the drive offers a burn speed of 22x for DVD±R media, 12x for DVD-RAM, 16x for DVD+R dual layer, 12x DVD-R dual layer, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW. The DVD burner is able to burn a full 4.7GB DVD±R disc in approximately 4 minutes and 26 seconds. [SlashGear]
