Seagate eSATA External HDD comes in 300GB and 500GB capacities. This eSATA hard drive can run up to five times faster than USB 2.0 and FireWire which makes it an ideal backup solution with its interface rate of up to 3 Gigabits per second. You can also set it up in a RAID configuration by adding an eSATA RAID controller. The Seagate eSATA External HDD retails for around $260 for the 300GB capacity and $400 for the 500GB capacity.
