Seagate Replica Released

The Seagate Replica is a new external USB storage system that is designed to backup everything inside your computer’s hard drive including system files, program files, documents and settings. This backup device is easy to use. You just need to connect the Replica to USB port and a window pops up with the option to “Start Seagate Replica”. Once you click “OK” and agree to the software agreement, the device will do its job automatically. Measuring 5.61-inch x 3.99-inch x 0.72-inch, the Seagate Replica is currently available in two variants. The entry-level 250GB model ($130) is specially designed for single PC backup, meanwhile the 500GB version ($200) comes with a docking station and is capable of backing up multiple PCs. Both models are compatible with Windows Vista (64 bit and 32 bit) and Windows XP. [Seagate via Engadget]
