Sharp Japan has announced their LX series of LED TV that is currently available in 40, 42, 52 and 60-inch models. The LED panel provides a full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 200,0000:1, a 176 degree viewing angle and a white LED backlit which consumes 30% less power. Additional features include a six speaker sound system which delivers 2.1 channel sound, Analog / Digital TV tuner, Ethernet port and three HDMI ports. The Sharp Aquos LX1 LED TV will hit Japanese stores early next month. There is no info on pricing or availability so far. [Sharp Japan]
