Sanyo has recently announced the PLC-WXE45 LCD projector that is perfect for use in the classroom. The projector offers a short throw range and networking capabilities. It can create an 80-inch image from a distance of 34 inches away at a native 1280×800 resolution and in a 16:10 aspect ratio. The contrast ratio is rated at 500:1, while brightness is set at 2,000 lumens. Connections include a VGA port, S-video connection and composite cable. The PLC-WXE45 is now available now for $1,795.
