
Sprint and Sierra Wireless have joined together to launch the Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot in the U.S. market. The device combines 4G connections over LTE and WiMAX networks, offering the best combination of speed and coverage to Sprint customers. The Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot is powered by a 3600mAh battery, which provides up to eight hours of operation time or up to eight weeks of standby time. Sprint will release the Sierra Wireless 4G LTE Tri-Fi Hotspot on May 18th, 2012 for $99.99 (excluding taxes) after a $50 mail-in-rebate with a two-year service agreement. [Press Release]
