Taiwanese manufacturer Silicon Power has released a new range of ultra rugged portable hard drives, the Armor A50. Coming in 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities, these external HDDs feature an elegant aluminum construction and meet the military’s MIL-STD 810F standards for shock and drop resistance. They also offer a USB 2.0/1.1 interface, a OneTouch backup button that will backup and synchronize data instantly and come with a 60-day trial version of Norton Antivirus software. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing yet.
