SimpleTech Eco-Friendly External HDD

by Stephen on July 28, 2008 · 0 comments

SIMPLETECH RE-DRIVE

SimpleTech launches first eco-friendly external storage ever. The drive only comes in a package of just the necessities; the USB & power cables, and the drive itself. The top and the bottom of the drive are two pieces of unpainted bamboo strips. SimpleTech will offer 500 GB of space. Unfortunately it does not support Firewire or eSATA, just USB 2.0 connection with software that will allow transfer in turbo mode. Estimated to cost about $150. [MaximumPC]
