SoftBank Mobile’s New Pocket WiFi Router With Power Bank Function

SoftBank Mobile has unveiled their newest pocket WiFi router that comes with power bank function, the Battery Wi-Fi. As part of the Y!mobile brand, this travel-friendly WiFi router supports up to 8 simultaneous connections and corresponds to the 2.5GHz AXGP, 2.1GHz/1.7GHz FDD LTE and 2.1GHz/900MHz W-CDMA communication networks (maximum downlink speed 112.5Mbps).

Measuring 75mm x 102.2mm x 22.3mm and weighing 235 grams, the Battery Wi-Fi is powered by a built-in 7800mAh battery that can be used as a power bank for charging your smartphone via its USB 2.1A output port.

The SoftBank Mobile Battery Wi-Fi is scheduled to hit the market on September 29th for unannounced price yet. [Product Page]
