Staffordshire, UK’s Falx Air Vehicles has released the final design overview of its hybrid-electric tilt-rotor aircraft platform, which it is looking to commercialize in the next 24 months. The aircraft will come in either single-seat or twin-seat configurations weighing in at just 350kg and 450kg respectively. The aircraft will make use of solar arrays and a small 100hp combustion engine to achieve a fuel economy of 10 liters per hour of flight. [Falx Air Vehicles]
