Sony is pleased to announce their newest mirrorless digital camera, the A7R II. Adopting a magnesium alloy body and a robust lens mount for working with large lenses, this interchangeable lens camera boasts the world’s first full-frame 42.4MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor, a 0.5″ 2.36M-dot XGA OLED Tru-Finder EVF, a 3.0″ 1,228.8k-dot tilting LCD monitor, Sony’s BIONZ X image processor and built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity.
Other notable features include 5-Axis SteadyShot INSIDE Stabilization, 399 Phase-Detect AF Points & 5fps Burst, ISO 102,400 and Silent Shutter Mode. In terms of video recording, the A7R II can record 4K UHD video at 30fps or 24fps in XAVC S format.
