Check out this newly announced superzoom digital compact camera from Sony, the Cyber-shot DSC-WX500. Claimed as the world’s smallest superzoom camera, this travel-friendly camera sports an 18.2MP 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS image sensor, a 30x optical zoom lens (24-720mm), a 3.0-inch 921k-dot LCD monitor that tilts up to 180 degrees, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, a micro-HDMI port and built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity.
Powered by Sony’s advanced BIONZ X image processor, the Cyber-shot DSC-WX500 has the ability to capture 1080 (60p, 60i, 30p, 24p) or 720 (30p) video in AVCHD/XAVC S format. Other highlights include Fast Intelligent AF and Optical SteadyShot with 5-axis image stabilization.
