It seems that Sony is serious to create green gadgets. Sony’s new glucose-operated battery uses glucose as its main source of energy. Sony has successfully find out how to generate power out of carbohydrates by breaking down enzymes that release active energy, which then can power small electronic devices. The Bio Battery is capable of generating up to 50mW of power, enough to power most of today’s gadgets. [daylife]
