
Sony Japan has debuted a new series of LCD TV that comes equipped with a built-in hard disk drive. The new Sony BRAVIA BX series supports a 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, CCFL back-lighting, a 720p HD resolution, a 24p True Cinema, BRAVIA Engine 2, BRAVIA Sync and a 500GB of hard disk drive. Audio features are rather standard at 5.1ch audio output and SteadySound to keep audio levels normalized. Additionally, the Sony BRAVIA BX Series is also known as the Sony BX300 in the US or the Sony BX30H in Japan. The Japanese model comes with the upgraded BRAVIA Engine 3 digital processor.
