Sony Develops Wide Display LCD Screen for Mobile Phone

Sony Develops Wide Display LCD Screen for Mobile Phone

Sony Corporation and Sony Ericsson are working together to create a new graphic engine called “RealityMAX” with a 16:9 ratio LCD screen. Measuring 40.2 mm x 70.7 mm x 1.75 mm, this wide screen LCD features a low temperature polysilicon TFT liquid crystal display modules. With a resolution of 240 x 432 pixels, Sony plans to complete the product with 256k colors output and up to 160 degree of viewing angle. We can expect to see a wide screen Sony Ericsson mobile phone in the future.
