Even though digital photoframes are the least popular, Sony has managed to launch 3 new models in the S series. They feature a WVGA screen resolution of 800×480, from 256MB up to 512MB of internal memory, a 15:9 aspect ratio, ten pattern slide show, USB and HDMI terminals ,support for JPEG, RAW, TIFF and BMP, support for BIONZ technology, a position censor , a clock display, and a multi card reader. The DPF-V900 has a 9” LCD and HDMI, the DFP-V700 has a 7” LCD and HDMI, and the DFP-D70 has a 7” LCD without HDMI. No word on how much or when these are coming out exactly, but what’s the hurry if they’re not very popular. [Akihabara via Digital Camera Blog]
