Sony Japan has unveiled the lightweight MDR-AS100W earphones. Weighing at just 25 grams, the earphones has a 60 cm long extension cord and utilities a CCAW voice coil which offers a sensitivity of 105dB/mW, playback frequency zone of 8Hz – 25kHz. and impedance of 16Ω. Its stereo mini connector is also gold plated. Sony will release the MDR-AS100W earphones in Japan from April 21 for 12,390 Yen or approx. $120. [Sony]
