Rumor has it that Sony is planning to drop the price of their DP-S300 Blu-ray player to around US$300 sometime later this year. Think about it, the Sony PS3 is priced at US$600, so it’s only natural, but can they afford it? We’ll see how it works out for Sony though, whose already losing US$200 for each Playstation 3 sold.
