
Sony has unveiled the pricing details for their newest projectors. The VPL-HW10 is priced at $3,500, meanwhile the VPL-VW70 retails for $8,000. The former model is the solid 1080p Bravia SXRD (LCOS-based) projector with 30,000:1 dynamic contrast. The latter model comes with panel zone alignment allowing users to further calibrate the picture. The VPL-VW70 also features a unique automatic lens cover that helps protect the lens from dust. Both models feature the BRAVIA Engine all-digital video signal processing engine with unique algorithms for noise reduction and color enhancement to deliver sharp, vibrant images.
