No eq?? You would be stuck with $ony earbuds. I’d rather have a KLEER setup with my choice of earphones and source unit. Think of the tiny crappy amp these would work off of!

I bought one the other day. I can listen to the sample music they provide with the NWZ-W202 package but I copied a few WMA files across to my computer and then after charging the device I copied the files across and tried to synchronise (’Synch’) the WMA files but it returned me a Status of ‘Error’ without any further explanation. The device also bleeped when I tried to play the WMA files so they probably weren’t recognised. I had taken the WMA files from CD to memory stick to PC. Do they have to be special type music WMA music files?!

Really great product, design & function, just can’t compare with anything that has a cord hanging off you, very liberating. Simple straight forward function, suprisingly rich sound. Love it.

Bought one last week, but just died after 2nd workout. Wondering it is because of the sweat during workout, I thought it was meant for active lifestyle, that’s why I bought it for my daily jogging routine. Quite disappointed indeed …. felt like being robbed.

I had the same problem as Nicholas! But the walkman died after 1 week due to sweat during workout. This is not for runners!

I’m thinking of liberating myself of wires while I’m jogging with this MP3 Player, but reading Nicholas and Vincenzo’s review has put me off a bit…I need more reassurance before buying this product for my active lifestyle. Thnx

Incredible!!!! I changed 3 NWZ-W202 (2 white and 1 violet) and all of them after few days stopped to work due to sweat! I went to the discount to change the product and now I have the ipod shuffle (the 3rd generation series). The ipod works well. DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU SWEAT!! Is there a way to run without sweat! Sony is going down!!!!
