Sony has come up with solution to bring music to every room in your home with the Sony S-Airplay SA20PK Multi-room Audio System. With the help of wireless speakers, Sony’s S-AIRPLAY transmits signals to speakers up to 164 feet away. The main docking station has a working range of up to 50 meters, which will cover average houses – unless you’re living in a huge mansion or the like. The system also includes support for iPod, CDs, AM/FM radio. The Sony S-Airplay System is set to retail for $400 sometimes next month. I got the feeling cables are going to extinct one of these days.
