The DRX-820UL is Sony’s new external DVD-RAM writer. This DVD-RAM burner features a rewriteable speed of 5x for DVD-RAM media. It can burn up to 8.5 GB of data per side on a double-layer DVD disc, and can burn up to 4.7 GB per side on single-layer DVD media. Designed to enhance the unit’s capabilities, this product comes with the award-winning Nero Software Suite, which includes bonus tools for DVD authoring, audio editing and DVD back-up. The DRX-820UL can be connected via High-Speed USB 2.0 or IEEE1394 interface to any compact PC or notebook. It should be available this month for about 139 EURO ($178.87 USD).
