Sumitomo Will Launch 40-inch OLED Panels in 2009

Japanese firm Sumitomo Chemical has announced that it will be producing 40-inch OLED panels for HDTVs in 2009 which means that Sumitomo-based TVs could hit the market in 2009 or 2010. Pictured above is Samsung’s old-skool 40-inch OLED HDTV prototype. [OLED-Info]
