Super Talent will launch a new RAIDDrive SSD series in October 2009. Measuring 258mm x 112mm x 25 mm, the RAIDDrive uses PCIe Gen. 2.0 x8 interface allowing the drive to provide sequential read speeds of up to 1.4GB/sec and sequential write speeds of up to 1.2GB/sec. Available in three models, the ES model is aimed at enterprise users, while the WS version is aimed at workstation users, and the GS version is aimed at gamers. All models can be configured in RAID 0 or RAID 5. The basic model of the Super Talent RAIDDrive SSD is priced at $4,999. [Super Talent]
