
ChrisTek and Epixx have released iPSP, which is an Apple iPhone interface for the Sony PSP. The program replaces the default “media crossbar” with a simplified iPhone menu and adds several of the usual applications including calendar, instant messaging, web browser, and mail… and you don’t have to pay someone to unlock these features. You can download the software for free, so you can save some money (but you still won’t be able to save yourself from the iPhone hype). Check out the video of the iPSP in action after the break.

Apple has launched the iPod Reset Utility 1.0.2, which can be used to restore 1st and 2nd generation Apple iPod shuffles back to their original factory settings. This software is a free download from Apple’s support website and is available for Mac and PC. Warning: All music and data on the iPod will be erased during the restore process.

Sony Ericsson has announced its new handsfree kit, the stereo-capable Sony Ericsson HPM-83. It comes equipped with a strong and flexible neckband for stability. Weighing at just 52.6 grams, the device also offers a standard 3.5mm plug and has call handling keys for answering or rejecting incoming calls. Package includes the headset and a user guide. This gadget will hit the stores in Q3 2007.
