Here’s a look at another upcoming desktop PC from Acer, the Aspire AM3970-F76F. Scheduled to hit the market on January 20th, the system offers a 3.40GHz Intel Core i7-2600 processor, an Intel H67 Express Chipset, a 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi Drive, 2x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (SP1) OS. The Aspire AM3970-F76F will retail for around 80,000 Yen (about $1,041) and will come bundled with two USB-powered speakers, a mouse and a keyboard. [Acer]
According to sources from the upstream supply chain, Acer and Lenovo will release their new Windows 8 tablets in the third quarter of 2012. Acer has unveiled the Iconia Tab A700 specification. This new tablet features a 10.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, an nVidia Tegra 3 processor, a SIM card slot, a microUSB port, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a built-in flash, a dedicated rotation lock switch, volume buttons, a 3.5mm audio jack and a micro HDMI port. Acer is gearing up to drop their newest 4-bay NAS server for the Japanese market. Called the Revo Center RC111, the device sports a 1.80GHz Intel Atom D525 processor, a 2GB RAM, a 1TB hard drive, two free 3.5-Inch HDD bays for expansion and runs on Windows Home Server 2011 OS. In terms of connectivity ports, it comes with three USB 2.0, eSATA and Gigabit Ethernet. The Revo Center RC111 will start shipping in Japan from November 22nd for around 40,000 Yen (about $520).
