The collection comprises of the No. 52 Reference Dual-Monaural Preamplifier, the No. 585 Integrated Amplifier, the No. 519 SACD Disc Player and the No. 560 Digital Audio Processor. The Mark Levinson 40th Anniversary Collection features premium quality internal components to produce a high-quality sound for the listener. Griffin has unveiled its new Airplay-enabled audio amplifier namely the Twenty. The device enables you to play digital audio from iTunes or any other AirPlay-enabled app (Pandora, Spotify, last.fm, etc.) to the user’s speakers wirelessly using an Airport Express wireless base station and Apple’s Airplay wireless audio/video protocol. The Griffin Twenty features a large aluminum knob for adjusting the sound and a 2.1 channel sound system with 20 watts output per channel. Too bad, there is no info on pricing or availability so far. The Onkyo PA-MC5500 THX-certified amplifier has nine channels of amplification rated at 200 watts, each at 6 Ohms. This high-end amplifier uses class AB amplification with a massive toroidal transformer and 22,000uF power supply capacitors. Sony today introduced two new G Series micro Hi-Fi systems for the European market. Known as the CMT-G2BNiP and the CMT-G1iP, both models have been crafted to deliver a sound quality to impress even the most demanding audio enthusiast. The Sony CMT-G2BNiP and the CMT-G1iP support a USB playback, an enhanced MP3 playback, an FM radio, Wi-Fi and a DAB radio. Designed by Mateusz Glowka, the Block Amplifier concept is made of aluminum and stainless steel with 6 valves located on the top. The design uses the principles of Hi-Fi audio by placing the components that spread the most electromagnetic interference (AC, power transformers, chokes) in individual compartments, keeping them the furthest distance possible away from audio lines.
