
The ICD Vega is the company’s new Google Android 2.0-powered touchscreen tablet that is powered by an nVidia Tegra processor. The gadget features a 15.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, a 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth 2.1. Other important specs including a built-in accelerometer, dual digital microphones, an ambient light sensor and a magnetic dock for charging and syncing the device. Chinese gadget manufacturer Eston will launch a new MID (Mobile Internet Device) known as the N97. The gadget supports a wide range of video formats including MPG, WMV, AVI, 3GP and MP4. The Eston N97 is powered by a Marvell PXA303 processor with a 7-inch TFT LED touchscreen display, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, a Li-ion battery and up to 4-hours of battery life. You are lucky if you are living in the States, because you will be able to purchase the first Android smartphone from Motorola namely the CLIQ. The handset will be available for pre-order from T-Mobile USA starting on October 19th, 2009 for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement. In case you didn’t know, the Motorola CLIQ has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a 3.1-inch HVGA full touch-screen display and a 5MP shooter with autofocus. LG today introduced their first Android-based smartphone that will be available in the fourth quarter of this year in selected European markets. The announcement of LG’s first Android-powered smartphone comes only a week after the company announced that it would be introducing three new Windows Mobile smartphones in the next few weeks. Previously known as “Etna”, the LG GW620 is a QWERTY-slider that has a 3-inch touchscreen display with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi and GPS. Kogan Technologies today introduced the Kogan Agora mobile phone, which is the first Australian mobile phone with the Android operating system. Priced at AU$299, the handset features a full QWERTY keyboard, central navigation key, a 2.5-inch touchscreen display, microSD slot, and 3G connectivity.
