
Word has it that an upgraded version of Aakash Android tablet will be released in April 2012 without any increase in the price. Priced at Rs. 2,000 ($40), the revised version of the tablet features a better display, a faster processor and a longer battery life. Acer today introduced the Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Games Edition in order to celebrate Acer’s partnership with the Olympic Movement. Available in black or silver, the tablet features a 1.3GHz nVidia TEGRA 3 quad-core processor, a 1280×800 pixel resolution display, a 9,800mAh battery that promises 15 hours of usage and a variety of productivity apps.
