
AOpen is about to release their newest barebone mini PC into the market. Called the XC Mini MP67-D (J) / i5-2520M, this space-saving machine packs a 2.50GHz Intel Core i5-2520M processor, an Intel HD Graphics 3000, two DDR3 slots (up to 8GB of memory), a 2.5-inch drive bay (HDD/SSD), a slot-in Super Multi drive, 2x USB 3.0 ports (front), 5x USB 2.0 ports (rear), Gigabit Ethernet, a DVI-I port and a DisplayPort. The all new AOpen XC mini MP55 series is based on Intel HM55 chipset, which provides Intel Anti-Theft Technology for PC protection that can disable lost or stolen PC and reactivate it without compromise to the system or data. The AOpen MP55 also features a Blu-ray drive that enables Blu-ray HD video playback. This gadget also has a built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and analog/digital TV modules to fulfill different requirements. What’s more, the AOpen XC mini MP55 series also adopts the Realtek ALC662 HD Audio chipset to deliver 5.1ch surround sound and high definition audio. Here’s a look at AOpen’s upcoming barebone PC, the XC Mini GP7A-HD. This new computer supports an Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo Penryn (Socket P with a 667/800/1066MHz FSB) processor, up to 4GB RAM (1066MHz) and features an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics card, a 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SATA SSD, a card reader and a DVD SuperMulti drive. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers 6x USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, eSATA, D-Sub, VGA and HDMI. The XC Mini GP7A-HD will hit Japan in mid-December for unannounced price yet. [AOpen]

Here is the latest competitor to Shuttle’s small form factor desktop casing from Aopen. Announced today this compact desktop case goes by the name XC Encore OE700. The case supports Penrym Core 2 Duo CPU and is based on the GM45 Express chipset with ICH9M and HDMI out. The XC Encore OE700 will be launched in Japan in May 2009. [Aopen]

AOpen has recently launched the TM-507 White in Japan. It is an average Micro ATX with a modifiable front panel. AOpen also offers a dedicated stand for your front panel if you wish to remove it from your PC. [AOpen]

Aopen Japan today has released their latest luxurious aluminum case that supports a 1.60GHz Intel Atom 330 CPU. 
The Aopen BB10 allows you to install a CD/DVD player on its front panel and supports 2.5 inch SATA HDDs with a max of 2GB of RAM.

 The price starts at 22 000 Yen (including the motherboard and the CPU). [Aopen]

The AOpen XC MP45-BDR mini PC boasts a high-end Blu-ray DVD reader/writer combo drive and runs on the Intel Montevina platform. Priced at around $550, this mini PC sports up to 4GB of DDR2 667/800 SO-DIMM modules, six USB 2.0 ports, and HDCP Full HD 1080P playback with 5.1 channel surround sound. The built-in GMAX4500MHD graphics engine also supports Microsoft’s DirectX 10 for great image quality and supports latest PC games. [FarEastGizmos]

AOpen has recently introduced the AME-100, which is a 2.5inch SATA hard drive external enclosure. The case was made of aluminum and connects to your PC or laptop via USB 2.0 with a maximum data transfer of 480Mbps. The enclosure comes bundled with a USB 2.0 Y-cable, a leather HDD wallet, some screws and a screwdriver. No word on pricing so far. [FarEastGizmos]

Aopen Taiwan today announced that the company will launch its latest Atom-based nettop(mini PC) in Japan. The XC Cube LE200 adopts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 processor with 2GB of RAM and Intel 945GC chipset. This nettop will be released later this month. Pricing info is still unknown.
