The MoMA Music Mug is now available for sale. Designed by Masato Tokuno, it is actually an iPod speaker designed to look like a white ceramic mug. The mug has a mini plug that you insert into the iPod’s headphone jack for audio playback. The Music Mug retails for $42. Warning: This white ceramic mug cannot be used for drinking!

Dubbed as the CarryMe case, it features a contrasting elastic band with a clasp that can be used to attach the case to bags, belts and other items. Available in black/white with red band and orange/white with blue band, the CarryMe case retails for only $17.

Good news for the customers who pre-ordered the Apple TV steaming media device. They began receiving shipment notifications earlier today. Most of them will receive their Apple TV by Friday. In case you didn’t know, the Apple TV was originally announced under the iTV codename in September 2006. It was officially introduced at Macworld Expo in January.

The SnoopTunes NoeStringAttached is wireless music sharing device that was developed by a teenager in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is designed to provide Microsoft Zune-like music sharing to non-Microsoft devices such as the Apple iPod. Priced at $60, the device connects to the headphone jack of a player via a cable and broadcasts the audio signal to similarly equipped iPods within a 15-foot radius.

Philips has unveiled a new iPod-compatible, under-cabinet multimedia player. Dubbed as the Philips DCD778 Docking Entertainment System, it features an 8.5-inch widescreen LCD display and can play audio and video from an iPod, DVD, (S)VCD, MP3-CD, CD(RW) and Picture CD.
The system also provides a built-in ATSC/NTSC TV tuner, digital AM/FM tuner, two 2-inch speakers, cooking timer and clock, and wireless remote. The Philips DCD778 is compatible with the fourth and fifth generation iPods, the iPod mini, and iPod nano. It will be available next week for around $400.

Griffin Technology announced the availability of the TuneFlex AUX, an updated version of its flexible charging cradle with line-out audio. The device features an audio cable for automobiles with direct line-in ports. It plugs into a car’s cigarette lighter outlet to power and charge your Apple iPod while holding it at a convenient position. Available in two versions (the TuneFlex AUX for full-size iPods and the TuneFlex AUX for the second-generation iPod nano), both priced at $50.
