
Asus has showcased their upcoming Eee Box EB1006 nettop during Computex 2009. This low power desktop sports a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, an ATI Radeon HD4530 graphics with support for DirectX 10, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 4 USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader, WiFi, an optional Bluetooth and an HDMI output. If you’re a proud owner of Asus’s flagship ROG motherboard then you can now tweak it with the ROG OC Station. This bay-mounted overclock assistant allows you to tweak parameters on the fly, ROG-exclusive features, fan speeds, system information and even a photo slideshow function. The specification of the Asus Eee PC 1005HA has been unveiled. Available in white, black, pink and blue, the 10.1-inch netbook is powered by either Intel Atom N270 or N280 CPU, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a LED-backlit display (1,024 x 600 resolution). Back in January we reviewed about ASUS’s upcoming Eee Keyboard, now according to Engadget, ASUS is planning on releasing the Eee Keyboard by the end of next month, however, pricing info is still unknown at the moment. As a reminder, this new keyboard is equipped with an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 5-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 32GB SSD, stereo speakers, a microphone, an HDMI output and WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity. Asus just announced its P6T7 WS SuperComputer motherboard that features seven PCI-E Gen2 x16 slots. The motherboard also holds the distinction of being certified for NVIDIA Tesla GPU computing, and can run up to three NVIDIA Tesla cards and one NVIDIA Quadro card simultaneously that produces 960 parallel processing cores. The new Asus My Cinema-EHD3-100/NAQ/FM/AV/MCE RC PCI-express Dual TV card is specially designed for those who want to watch and record both digital (ATSC/QAM) and analog (NTSC) TV channels simultaneously on their PC. The device features an MPEG2 hardware encoder that wil reduce CPU loading while producing high quality video. Using PCI Express x1 interface, this dual hybrid TV card also provides transmission speeds of up to 500MB/s, which is three times faster than a conventional PCI bus that runs at 133MB/s. Asus will release its Eee PC 1002 HAE netbook in the Japanese market on May 16, 2009. What makes this netbook special is that it comes with a sleek aluminum body. The netbook adopts a 10.1-inch WSVGA (1,024×600) LCD screen with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD and Microsoft Windows XP OS. Available in gray, blue and red, the Eee PC 1002 HAE also supports three USB2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, and a 1.3MP webcam. Asus comes back with three new members of its designer U series laptop that looks like the Apple MacBook Air. The 12-inch U20A, 13.3-inch UX30 and 15.6-inch UX50V are all based on Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV), ranging from the entry 1.2GHz Celeron M in the U20A to the 1.3GHz Pentium, 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo and 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo in the UX30 and UX50V. The thinnest model is the UX30 that measures 0.9-inch thick and weights at only 3.5 pounds (without a DVD burner). All models feature 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LED-backlit screen, up to 500GB HDD, and up to 4GB of RAM.
