
PowerColor has recently announced the availability of the latest ATI branded video card namely the PowerColor LCS Radeon HD 5870. This video card is highly overclocked thanks to its liquid cooling solution with a core clock of 950MHz and a memory clock of 1200MHz. Club 3D has recently unveiled the ATI Radeon HD5550 Noiseless Edition that uses a massive heat sink and dual heat pipes for cooling. The video card features a GPU clock speed of 550MHz and comes with 512MB DDR3 video memory. The card also has 320 stream processors and supports up to 2560 x 1600 resolution. AMD has confirmed it plans to launch ATI Radeon HD 5400 and HD 5500-series products before the middle of February 2010, as part of its aim to provide excellent graphics with Microsoft DirectX 11 technology support for mainstream markets. The HD 5450 is a successor to the previous generation ATI HD 4650/4550/4350 graphics cards, while the HD 5570 will target the mid-range market. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this time. AMD ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series are the world’s first series of graphics processors to deliver Microsoft’s DirectX 10.1 support, 55nm process technology and tri and quad multi-GPU support. This video card will be introduced in two variants. The ATI Radeon HD 3850 with 256MB of GDDR3 memory retails for $179, while the ATI Radeon HD 3870 with 512MB GDDR4 memory is priced at $219.
