ATP Electronics has showed off a new line of industrial grade SSDs called the Velocity SI Pro. Available in 30GB, 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities, these rugged 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with SLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a built-in 128/256-bit AES hardware encryption, ATP SMART Life Monitor and Secure Erase technologies and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. In terms of performance, these SSDs deliver read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 500MB/s, respectively. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment. [Softpedia]
