
Audio Technica comes back with four headphones that were specially designed for both the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS. Known as the ATH-EQ300G, ATH-C100G, ATH-C500G and ATH-CK300G, these headphones allows you to control the volume directly from the headphone (a small remote is located on the cable). No idea on pricing, but this new range will be out in Japan this April. [Akihabara]

Audio Technica today introduced the AT-PL300USB turntable to restore your old vinyl to the digital format. The device connects to the PC via USB and record in WAV, MP3 and WMA formats. The rather stylish player supports 33 and 45 discs and has a aluminum die cast frame which controls rotary unevenness. The Audio Technica AT-PL300USB is available only in Japan for around $275. Audio-Technica has unveiled their new winter collection earphones that come in the form of the ATH-CK100 and ATH-CKM50. These earphones use a triple driver system and claims to be the smallest IEM three-drivers on the market today. Priced at around €450, the Audio-Technica ATH-CK100 is made with a titanium housing, and offers a frequency response of 20Hz-18kHz, an impedance of 23Ω, and a sound pressure level of 113dB. Meanwhile, the Audio-Technica ATH-CKM30 provides a frequency response of 14Hz-24, 10.7mm driver units, a sound pressure level of 104dB, and an impedance of 16Ω. Available in Black, Brown, Red, Orange, and White, both earphones will be launched on November 21st, 2008. [Akihabara]

The ATH-A1000X and ATH-A2000X are Audio-Technica’s latest high-end headphones. The ATH-A1000X is a dynamic headphone with an aluminum housing, and 53 driver units. It offers a frequency response of 5Hz-42kHz, an impedance of 42Ω, and sound pressure level of 101dB. Meanwhile, the ATH-A2000X is a higher-end model that provides a frequency response of 5Hz-45kHz, an impedance of 42Ω, a sound pressure level of 101dB, and comes with 53mm drivers. Audio-Technica also introduced the new ATH-FW5 portable headphones, that offer a frequency response of 15Hz-23kHz, an impedance of 30Ω, sound pressure level of 105dB, and 36mm drivers. [iPodnn]

Audio-Technica will release the new ATH-EQ300M and ATH-EQ300LV headphones on August 22nd, 2008. Measuring at only 8.5mm thin, these headset boasts a sound pressure sensitivity of 102dB/MW, a frequency response of 16Hz-24,000Hz, and an impedance of 20Ω. These high quality headphones are able to accept a maximum input power of 500mW. The ATH-EQ300M is available in Black, Brown, Pink, Purple, Silver, and White, meanwhile the ATH-EQ300LV is available only in one color. [Akihabara] Read more

Audio Technica will be launching some new DAP and Mp3 player headphones. Each one comes with a frequency response of 15Hz-22,000Hz, a sound pressure sensitivity of 100dB/mW, an impedance of 32Ω, and 30mm drivers. Look for the headphones in pink, white, brown, or black. [Akihabara]

Audio-Technica has dropped 2 new models of DAP speakers. The first one is the AT-SP250 which can be hooked up to any iPod as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. The other one is called the AT-SP230 which can be used with all digital audio players including all models and brands. No word on when and how much these are going for, but they shouldn’t be pricey considering they’re pretty basic. [Akihabara]

Japanese company, Audio Technica is celebrating their 1-year anniversary in style with the release of their brand new ONTO ATH-ON3 headphones, a limited edition pair featuring 6 colors and 12Hz to 23kHz, 32Ω and 102dB/mW. Price hasn’t been unveiled and neither has a proper release date.

Audio Technica’s ATH-ESW9 Sovereign Wood Headphones has 42-millimeter neodymium magnet drivers with fiberglass housing support. These headphones are crafted from Japan’s finest Hokkaido cherry tree. The ATH-ESW9 will release October 19th, 2007 for around $330.
